The Honda CB500X has a tough new look that exudes adventure. Inspired by the Africa Twin, it blends rugged lines with an aggressive stance, and the tall screen offers comfort. The CB500X features the engine you need to explore on any type of road. Powerful, agile and efficient even on longer journeys, it gives you the freedom you’ve been dreaming of. And just like its larger CBR siblings, an Assist/Slipper Clutch eases upshifts and manages the rear wheel lock-up on hard down changes.
The 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine produces 35kW @ 8,600rpm – making it A2 license compliant – with peak torque of 43Nm @ 6,500rpm. Revised camshafts and valve lift have increased low- and mid-range torque for faster acceleration.
The Honda CB500X features a new inverse-display LCD dash with Gear Position indicator. Tapered aluminum handlebars offer leverage and complete handling control, and full LED lighting, including indicators, is a premium finishing touch. The long travel 41mm telescopic forks are adjustable for spring pre-load, as is the Pro-Link rear monoshock.
