There are more than 20 ethnic groups habituating the North West region of Vietnam. Among the groups, Thai, H’mong and Dao are the most typical representatives, contributing the majority of forming the region’s culture. This region’s symbols of culture are paddy irrigation systems; embroidery patterns on the Thai ‘pieu’ headscarf, the Muong dress hem and belt, the H’mong women outfit; music from woodwind instruments (‘khen’ pan-pipe, flute, …) and the ‘xoe’ folk dance evocating the image of Thai maidens in Northwestern distinctive colorful costumes.

Day 1: Ha Noi – Pu Luong Nature Park
Ride motorcycle to Pu Luong nature reserve offers picturesque landscapes with its rice terraces, authentic villages and lush vegetation. Motorcycle touring to Pu Luong highest mountain in Thanh Hoa province, you will have the opportunity to meet the white Thai and the Muong ethnic group in this region forever. You will be able to spend the night in their beautiful house on stilts and explore their daily life. Do not miss this opportunity to make you discover this fabulous and still wild destination.

Day 2: Pu Luong national park – Mai Chau village
After breakfast, ride motorcycle to Mai Hich poetic valley on colonial road of number 6, populated by mainly white Thai ethnic people. Explore the beautiful limestone mountains, the colorful hill tribes and the culture of the rice-cultivating inhabitants in the Red river. In the afternoon, we should reach the village of white Thai ethnic where we will stay the night. Start a short hiking around the village to enjoy the fresh air, untouched nature and partake in the daily life of the locals. Back to the home-stay for enjoy a local dinner.
In Mai Chau valley, you have a real opportunity to enjoy folk songs and traditional colorful culture of white Thai dance with special sticky rice liquor called “ruou can”.

Day 3: Mai Chau Village – Phu Yen town

Booking Condition:
+ To secure your bookings we require a minimal of 30 % deposit. Balance can be made upon arrival.
+ The rider is responsible for any bank charges. ( surcharge 3,5% if you pay by credit card ).
+ The balance can be paid by cash or credit on the first day of the trip.
+ If you cancel the Vietnam motorbike tour before the departure date, you will lose 100% of the deposit.
+ If you cancel the tour after the departure date, you will lose 100% of the total cost/ fee of the tour for any reason.
+ After departure, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason, if you cancel the tour.
+ A Damage Cost deposit of US$ 100 – 1,000 or more is required for each motorcycle for using in the guided or self-guided motorcycle tours. In case of a self-caused accident, your own participation is up to US$ 2,000 or more.

+ Your full name exactly as per passport at the time of booking and making deposit is required to applied Permit To Enter The Border Area in advance.
+ Anti-bug spray should be prepared in advance for this typical trip since we have some nites in homestay in rain forest.

Cancellation
No additional cancellation fees apply for this tour. You can cancel the tour up to 12 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 11 days of departure.
Payment
For any tour departures within 03 July 2022, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 03 July 2022, a deposit of 30% is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 11 days before trip departure.
Travel Insurance
Ride to Northern Rice Fields and Colorful Ethnic People 4 Days/ 3 Nights requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. We recommend using World Nomads’ travel insurance.
